Nostalgic Event

The series was created during the “Guild Day” in Ravenstein in June 2016. The “Guild Day” is an event where up to 50 different guilds from home and abroad come together to showcase their traditions to each other and to the public. During the procession through the center of Ravenstein, I positioned myself under the city gate of this fortified town, where the lighting and background perfectly complemented the magnificent attire of the guild brothers and sisters. With the images displayed here, I achieved the title of “Qualified European Photographer” from the Federation of European Photographers (FEP) at the end of 2016.
